3 things I can't wait to happen in LU

disclaimer: i'm not demanding any of what i'm thinking might happen to happen! just my thoughts and ideas in a playful tone!

1. what is up with the slate???

i don't even have half a clue about what this means??? but it's so good. i'm so intrigued? i'm concerned??? and i love it?

it overwhelmed and/or hurt time with all the information. but also he's like completely sus— distrusting of it

i'm so ready to know what's goin onnnnn

2. fairy hyrule

fae? cute smol and chiming??? I would hold in my hands

3. another wild memory

especially during the worst time and place for it! so many possibilities for how this could fuck them over. so many possibilities of what exactly triggers a memory. i want it to hurt, i want it to hurt so bad

i have so much more but these three are the most prominent ones. let me know what you guys are looking forward to or hope will happen in the comic!

LU September art things I noticed:

Main archer Wild getting the focus he deserves. Oh, and flexing on us mortals by preparing to dish out three arrows

Nice detail of all the lefties holding their bows one way, while right handed Sky and Wild hold it the other

Some like Hyrule hold their bow with a fist, others like Legend stick out a finger. To help with checking the trajectory?

I love that Time, Warriors, Twilight and Wild's bows look kinda similar

What enemy could prompt such an assault? Look at their faces!

Except Sky; I've never seen him look so calm and almost smug. Might this be an enemy from his world he knows how to deal with...?

I think either Time or Sky would make the call on when to let the arrows loose: "Ready? Aim! FIRE!"

Now, just hear me out here...

This scene ain't just a one off joke, it's hinting that something's going on in Skyloft. Something bad.

The fact that Sky is disappointed implies that every time they've had a visit from the postman he's had a letter from her. The reason this time there's no word isn't because she didn't write, but rather she couldn't write. I'm just saying the boys must have been in town for a while and Dink has been awfully quiet- sure he's been regenerating and all that, but maybe he's moving onto the next phase of his plan.

Maybe in a few chapters the boys will walk through the portal into a war-torn Skyloft destroyed to a level they didn't think Dink was capable of. Sky is freaking out, Warriors is having war flashbacks and everyone's worried about it being a multipronged attack on all their eras. Just a thought :)

Blue Four appreciation

I love Blue Four. 10/10 angry dude

His motto is "No thoughts head angry" I mean look at him! Every face is grumpy! How you can you hate him. He's got one emotion and it is mad

He is very good at pointing accusingly at people

I also love this panel. Wild's body language perfectly captures the correct (only?) reaction to Blue

He was freaked out by all of Four right then, but Blue was especially scary.

His pose here matches a sketch from quite a while ago:

But his reaction to Twilight's injury was the same as Wild's.

I think they really bonded in this moment:

Blue four was brought into existence and is full of rage about it, and I relate to respect that

Four's pet demon

Fanfic prompt : you know the joke where people refer to their cats as their roommates and you get sentences like my roommate ate my pet gold fish or my roommate bites me in the leg when he wants attention but it is just shadow and four and the chain just assumes that four has a cat because what sort of lunatic would eat a pet

Four : My roommate tried to suffocate me by laying on my face when I sleep

Twilight thinking that four is talking about a cat : your roommate just wants to be close to you mine does the same thing I just move him to my chest

Four : he can’t lie on my chest he is way too heavy for it and I am like the same size

Twilight still thinking that four has a cat : that sucks I suppose

Or

Four thinking that twilight also has a shadow living with him because of the dark magic he is involved with : does your roommate stare at you while you sleep from high places

Twilight still thinking about cats : definitely but they all do that because they can protect you better if they can see everything so they go to high places

Four thinking that twilight is a shadow expert: oh , that makes sense now thank you I guess I have to thank him now

Twilight still NOT getting it : mine likes head pats but everyone of them is different

Or

Four : should I get him a something to see him better t because he is as black as the void and during night I sometimes trip over him and then he gets offended because he thinks I do it on purpose

Twilight: you might be on to something here maybe I should do it to

Four : also he keeps running around when it gets dark and he also keeps breaking things because of that

Twilight : those are called getting the zoomies they happened mostly at night because they are nocturnal creatures and usually mean they are excited about something

This continues for weeks till four basically knows everything about cat behavior and what they mean

And when he gets home (the chain was forced to rent rooms at an inn because his grandpa's house isn’t big enough) the first thing he does is pet shadow and tell him that he is thankful for trying to protect him during the night

Shadow straight up melts about it because he never got any praise or attention for his hard work

Twilight who learned a ton about shadow expected a black cat that four found in a random ditch and then rescued from his past owner Vaati who treated him poorly

He did not expect an actual hylian looking demon who is currently getting head pats and melting under them (no literally he is liquified from them)

Maybe something was lost in translation but who cares about that now

Because he was off help at least
